The Enterprise:



Evaptainers is a hardware company based in Boston, MA founded in 2014 at Tufts University and MIT. Our company is creating the world’s first mobile “zero-energy” refrigeration system (cooling systems that require no external electricity) that can be used in areas with little or no electricity. Our product has the potential to disrupt conventional refrigeration and revolutionize cold chain logistics in developing countries. We have chosen to pilot our product in Morocco and are looking to set up a strong local team to support our launch here.



The Position:



We are seeking a business and operations intern that can help with:

• Market analysis, particularly identifying demand in rural areas

• Pricing research & analysis for various products

• Developing a sales strategy

• Grant writing

• Additional tasks and hours can be assigned depending on interest and experience



The ideal candidate has the following traits:

• Native Moroccan; strong in English, Berber language is a plus

• Incredibly organized and data driven

• Outgoing personality

• Comfortable working in a small start-up environment

• Self-directed and focused, requiring minimal supervision to execute on goals.



Candidates should be available for at least 20 hours a week. Hours flexible. Interns will be given a monthly stipend of 3,000 dhs and will receive competitive salaries if hired for full-time after 3 months.
